Retro baby shower mini cakes.

Baby shower cake for my friend Pinar. She is going to have a boy but she did not want something blue. We decide the color theme should be chartreuse and instead of a baby theme I put a pregnant lady having a nap after opening the gifts.

Covering the 25 mini cake was the difficult bit of this cake. But I am very happy with the result.

Pinar was so emotional that night and love the cake.

We serve the mini cakes to guests and she take the top piece to continue celebration at home.

We are so much looking forward to see the new baby which is coming in a week.

Pirate Ship Cake

The cake is prepared for Amaan's big birthday party and the theme was pirates again of course.

I must say brown is a bit boring color for a cake. I tried to put lots of colorful things like the treasure chest, palm tree, fishes etc and a small parrot sitting on the dock...

It was a great challenge for me to make the ship as I have never carved a ship shape cake before...Hope all the kids will enjoy the party and my cake..

Pirate Cookies

Cookies made for Amaan's 6th birthday. Amaan is a big fan of Captain Hook and his crew. He insisted to have a pirate theme at his birthday.

I made 2 dozen of cookies with different pirate faces with colorful bases. Wrote all kids names in the class to make each cookie special for them.

The bags were full of treasures to cheer little pirates.
